Pet Holdings, Inc. is the parent company of a diversified portfolio of large user-generated communities known as the Cheezburger Network. PHI focuses on the development and acquisition of humor or entertainment sites that primarily uses user-generated content (UGC).

The mission of the Cheezburger Network is very simple: “Make the world happy for 5 minutes a day.”

This mission has three requirements:

1) Focus on Happiness – We believe the best way to happiness is through laughter, so we concentrate on sites that allow users to laugh with others, at others or at themselves.

2) Embrace that People are Busy – Keep things simple. We’re focused on creating content pieces that are simple to consume, simple to pass along, and most importantly, simple to create.

3) Appeal to the Masses – Our content must be not only accessible, but loved by many. It’s easy to create sites that are loved by few, but the business challenge is to evolve that narrowly appealing content to the broad public.
